How do I power ON and OFF my SlimType smart cover?

Push and hold the
button for 2-3 sec, until you hear a sound and/or see the connection notification on your screen -
To turn OFF SlimType smart cover: press the
button.
How do I switch between my on-screen keyboard and the SlimType smart cover keyboard?

When you power on the SlimType keyboard, the on-screen keyboard will disappear from your screen and you´ll be connected to the SlimType keyboard.

Tip: When connected, you can toggle between the SlimType Keyboard and on-screen keyboard by typing
+ 6
How do I set my default keyboard?

When you install and activate the SlimType app, the SlimType keyboard will be set as default through the installation procedure.

To change this setting, push

button on the SlimType keyboard to access the SlimType keyboard settings. Under “When keyboard disconnected” set desired keyboard.
Why won´t my SlimType keyboard connect?

Make sure you have enabled NFC on your smartphone: (“Settings – Connections – NFC and payment – NFC”).

Push and hold the
button for 1sec, until you hear a sound and/or see the connection notification on your screen -
Press the home screen button, and wait approximately 30 seconds before reconnecting the SlimType keyboard.

Restart your smartphone and wait approximately 30 seconds before reconnecting the SlimType keyboard.

Make sure your smartphone is compatible to work with SlimType smart cover
Can the phone be attached and removed from the SlimType smart cover several times?

SlimType smart cover uses micro suction technology to attach to your smartphone surface. Try to keep the attaching surfaces dust-free to withstand a good adhesiveness.

If the adhesive suction pad by any reason loses its adhesive properties, you can try to clean it with a damp cloth.
Can I use my phone for other NFC functionalities when SlimType is connected?

You can still read NFC tags while your SlimType cover is protecting your phone, by simply switching OFF the SlimType keyboard.

Tip: Avoid to have the Keyboard folded back since this will block the NFC antenna and prevent your smartphone to read other NFC tags.
"phone works slower" message

It may emerge a “phone work slower” message during use.
This is a common Samsung bug, and does not seem to affect the phone
